WordPress Theme Development

I can build WordPress themes from the ground up; the right way!

If it is a smaller project, I will create a WordPress child theme based on a design you have or I can design a site for you.** If it is a larger project, I can create a complete independent theme to fit your project.

All of my themes are programmed using HTML5 and CSS3, and are made to be compatible with mobile devices (depending on the design).  I code using web standards and provide excellent comments in my code.

I take pride in developing/altering the admin area of WordPress to fit your exact editing needs.  This means, when you log in to your site using WordPress, it will be clear and concise exactly what you can edit, and how to edit it.  I use custom post types and the Advanced Custom Fields plugin by Elliot Condon to accomplish this.

I also provide screencast video tutorials of exactly how everything works, so that you will always have complete control over your site!

WordPress Theme Modification

Sometimes it is much more cost effective to use a pre-made theme and alter it to your liking.  This can save a lot of time and money.  I am happy to point you to my favorite professional WordPress Theme Designers (like www.themetrust.com and www.elegantthemes.com) and help you pick a theme that best fits your needs, and then take it from there and carve it into exactly what you need!

Custom Plugin Development

Plugins take WordPress to a whole new level!  They allow us to create precise solutions for content management that may not exist out-of-the-box in WordPress.  If you have an idea for a website that might need a custom plugin, I have experience developing custom plugins and can craft something to fit your need.

I use my WP Jump Menu plugin on all of my WordPress sites.  I know you’ll love it!
